Cosplay Makeup Tutorial: Great Base for Beginnersby ~Miahpt

This tutorial is a good customizable base that can be used to compliment most characters, specially characters from anime/manga.

You don't need to spend lots of money on make-up or have experience to do this tutorial.

Choose the colors, products and skip any step or suggestion you like, to suit your character!!!

Just a little question...I know the concealer is for pimples and such, but would it also work to hide freckles?

I have lots of marks beauty marks in my face too, that don't suit many cosplays, like moe type! They stay well hidden only with the foundation in my case, so if you apply it well and throughly with a color that blends with your skin tone it will work perfectly, because freckles aren't that dark. And I think that's all you need (just don't use a low quality foundation, it doesn't need to be expensive, with 14dolares you can buy a good one at sephora)

If you still aren't happy, or you have a very white skin, concealers for me are like magic, they fix anything so this step it's the most important. Just put a bit of concealer (just a bit) in the freckles you dislike and spread it with very very small circular movements carefully. You can smoodge just the outside of the concealer to.

Don't forget the powder, this will help the makeup to stick to your skin and hide the freckles even better. I hope I Answer your question.

Good tutorial! I just have a couple of questions, based on my personal experience with make up. Wouldn't you want to use a concealer and/or primer before you put on foundation? To help even the skin tone and make a more even pallet for the foundation.
